Our take on the original pilsner beer first released in 1842. Pale golden hue, exquisitely balanced, crisp, and delicious.
The birthplace of this beer is sealed in language: Pilsner means “from Pilsen” in Czech. Pilsners are clean and best known for versatile drinkability, these are refreshing, palate-rinsing, and thirst-quenching brews. The style started with the Pilsner Urquell brewery in Pilsen, Czech Republic in 1842, and has since been adapted around the world. Czech-style pilsners are moderately tinted pale yellow with low-to-medium noble hop presence. They are characterized by slightly sweet, toasted biscuit and bready aromas and flavors, as well as moderate to low carbonation.
The side pull faucet (or Czech beer faucet) is used to control the flow of beer to create a creamy head, which is the traditional way of enjoying a Czech pilsner. The faucet is submerged into the mug to create a silky, sweet head of foam. Each slight movement of the handle changes the flow of beer; every degree of the handle changes the flow of beer; every degree of change increases or decreases the amount of liquid being poured into the glass.
