Inspired by a Madras cocktail. Tart and tangy notes of fresh cranberries meet the sweet citrusy kiss of blood orange for a brew with a red orange hue and lip smacking refreshing finish.
Rotating Kettle Sour series inspired by some of our favorite cocktails and fully loaded plenty of fresh fruits. What is a kettle sour? The sourness comes from the kettle sour method where lactobacillus (same bacteria used to produce yogurt) is added to warm wort in the brewhouse to sour the wort by producing lactic acid. After 2 days of souring, the wort is boiled and then a few special ingredients like juicy blood oranges and tangy cranberries are added to the beer.
