DESCRIPTION:

Double Track has rich, bread-like malt flavors, from a luscious blend of the best German Munich malts, it is served mit naturtrüb, or “with natural cloud”, not only does this contribute to its rich palate, but it also makes the bottles good for aging and cellaring.

THE STORY:

We have brewed Doppelbock for the winter season since our first full winter in 1998. We originally named our Doppelbock “Aviator”, and that beer served us very well from 1998 –2015. This year we wanted to mix things up by adding more color and roasted notes to our great Doppelbock, and with these changes in color and aroma we gave our beloved Doppelbock a new name. Double Track Doppelbock is a name that brings up images of snow in the Ozarks, gently pressed by the bicycle tires of interlopers exploring our wooded trails. Winter exploration is a journey best shared, as is our Double Track Doppelbock.
