Gold Dragon Gin Barrel-Aged Double IPA
A match made in beer and distilling heaven. Our widely popular double IPA, Greene Dragon, was carefully rested in Songbird Goldfinch Gin barrels from Ty Iechyd Da Distillery. The result is a medium bodied beer with a delicate merriment of tropical fruit and citrus flavors from the hops with light floral gin botanicals and subtle notes of oak.

THE STORY:

Craving more hops? Greene Dragon DIPA is a pumped up version of our flagship IPA, Greene Ghost. Named after a brewing term, “Green Dragon”, referring to a trail of green dust that plumes up after a generous dry hop into the fermenter. It’s blended with the initial release in Ty Iechyd Da Distillery, Songbird Gin Series: Goldfinch, named after it’s hue of light gold. This is the house gin that rested in Sauternes Wine barrels, transforming the flavor into a sophisticated liquid that gin lovers will thoroughly enjoy.
