Rotating Kettle Sour series inspired by some of our favorite cocktails and fully loaded plenty of fresh fruits. What is a kettle sour? The sourness comes from the kettle sour method where lactobacillus (same bacteria used to produce yogurt) is added to warm wort in the brewhouse to sour the wort by producing lactic acid. After 2 days of souring, the wort is boiled and then a few special ingredients like fresh limes and a dash of salt are added to the beer.
