DESCRIPTION:

Our McDaniel’s Draught stout is an exceptionally delicious stout that truly represents Irish-style draught stouts. The aroma focuses on roasted malt with very little hop character. Nitrogenation results in a dazzling display of bubbles that settle to the perfect foam height, giving our stout a creamy mouthfeel and a very elegant appearance. The hop bitterness compliments the malt flavor and the result is a roasty flavor that finishes with a clean and dry, coffee-like finish.

THE STORY:

Named for McDaniel St. in downtown Springfield, we brew this beer annually for the changing of the seasons and for the celebration of the Patron Saint of Ireland.
