DESCRIPTION:

Snakebite is a golden, light and fruity pint of mid strength and low bitterness. It’s a blend of beer and hard cider. The cider character leads with some malt sweetness and body coming in from the wheat mid palate. Finish is clean and fairly dry with a noticeable cider flavor.

THE STORY:

A traditional English pub drink- a “snakebite” is a blend of beer and hard cider. Often you will find them made with half lager half cider, occasionally black currant syrup would be added, too and this would be known as a “snakebite and black” or a “diesel.”

Ours, however, is a nod to the standard with a wee spin using half Walnut St Wheat (instead of Lager) and a blend of Farmstand cider and hard cider fermented form apples we received from Happy Apples from Union, MO.
